The Dimitra 'Connected Farmer' platform incorporates inputs from mobile apps, sensors, satellite, and DNA tests. Machine learning and AI is applied to transform complex data into practical and actionable recommendations so that farmers can increase yield, reduce cost, and mitigate risk.
Dimitra currently has Sales Directors representing the regions of North America, Latin America, Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Central Asia who manage teams in over 70 countries; and we’re growing rapidly across the globe. We are building our Southeast Asia & Oceana team and are looking for a Regional Sales Director to head it. If you have technology sales experience or are connected in the corporate or government agriculture space, this is a great new career.
• Experience working with governments, food manufacturers, producers, distributors and NGO’s
• Established networks in the agriculture or technology industry
• Experience working in the Ag-tech industry
• Expert in consultative sales and relationship management
• Ability to scope, propose, navigate complexities, and manage a sales lifecycle
• Fluency in English
• Reside in Europe
• Previous experience working with government bodies– preferably in livestock or agriculture ministries
• Technically proficient and comfortable with the custom software sales lifecycle
• Experience hiring and managing commission-based channel partners
• Collaborate with senior executives to establish and execute sales goals for the region
• Manage sales partners in order to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed corporate-set goals
• Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals
• Assist sales personnel in developing their techniques
• Develop specific plans to ensure long term and short-term growth
• Educate sales team with presentations of strategies, seminars and regular meetings
• Present our product to potential accounts
• Prepare proposals for products and services
Monthly salary plus commission and monthly crypto bonuses. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. You will be supported by Dimitra’s global teams in agriculture, livestock, supply chain, technology, and digital transformation specialists who will assist you throughout the sale process.
