Why Sierra de Álica?

Tucked within the rich landscapes of Nayarit, the Sierra de Álica is a biodiversity hotspot and federally protected natural reserve, home to hundreds of endemic species, vital forest ecosystems, and Indigenous communities like the Coras and Huicholes. Dimitra is working hand in hand with these communities to digitize sustainable forest management, preserve fragile ecosystems, and generate long-term value through carbon credits.
